What we do

Payroll and CIS

Your staff paid the right amount on the right day, with HMRC told the same day. Plus CIS if you are in construction.

In short

Staff paid correctly, HMRC told the same day.

Payroll does not wait. It happens on a fixed day, people notice straight away if it is wrong, and HMRC fines you automatically if you are late telling them. We run it as a routine: you send us the changes, we work out the pay, tell HMRC and send the payslips the same day.

What is included

The pay run
Weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly. Payslips sent securely to you or straight to your staff, with a simple list of what to pay and when.
Telling HMRC
HMRC has to be told on or before each pay day. We do that, and we handle the end-of-year forms your staff need, such as the P60.
Workplace pensions
We check who has to be enrolled, work out the contributions, upload them to your pension provider and deal with the re-check that comes round every three years.
CIS for construction
We check your subcontractors with HMRC, take off the right amount of tax, file the monthly return and send every subcontractor their statement.

Who this is for

  • Companies paying one director, or fifty staff
  • Builders who hire subcontractors, work as one, or both
  • Employers who have already had a late filing fine
  • Anyone taking on their first employee

When it is due

HMRC must be told on or before each pay day. PAYE and CIS are paid by the 22nd of the following month, and CIS returns are due by the 19th.

We confirm your dates in writing and keep track of them for you from then on.

How we run it

A routine, not a panic

We agree at the start what we need from you and when, and what you get back and when. After that it just happens, without anyone chasing anyone.

You get a written list of every date that applies to you, a reminder before each one, and the filing done early. If something changes in your business we change the plan, instead of finding out about it at the year end.

  • Payslips weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • We tell HMRC every time you pay someone
  • Workplace pensions sorted and paid over
  • CIS for builders: returns, checks and statements

How it works

Four steps, and three of them are ours

Changing accountant sounds like hard work. It is not, and almost none of it falls to you.

  1. A first phone call with a new client01

    A free 20-minute chat

Tell us what you do and what you need. No charge, no pressure and no sales pitch.

  2. A written price being prepared for a new client02

    A price in writing

Within one working day you get one monthly price and a list of exactly what it covers.

  3. Client records being collected when changing accountant03

    We do the moving

We write to your old accountant, collect your paperwork and register with HMRC. You sign one form.

  4. The month-to-month routine of bookkeeping and filing04

    You stop worrying about it

We remind you before every deadline and file early. You hear from us before you hear from HMRC.
